TDR Rana Akina (CJ) is an exceptionally
special, bay, Purebred Arabian mare, who is a daughter of my beloved mare
"Rana".
She was 3 years old when her dam,
Rana, passed away due to a severe intestinal torsion and surgery could
not save her. She is a maternal sister to
TDR Rana Ultima Nata and she is a paternal sister to
TDR Obra Maestra. She is a precious rare gem who will live every day of her life with us.
She is also very unique as she is a purebred Arabian with one blue eye
and special markings called "back lacing", it is not scaring but lace
like patterns that increases in size every year. It runs from above her
withers down her spine to her tail; she is a sabino. TDR Rana Akina is
vet checked in foal to
TDR White Stone for a 2/17/2011 foal.

TDR Rana Akina was born on Tynan's 4th
birthday at about 8am on 4-2-99. To this day she has been our only foal
ever born on Tynan's birthday. TDR Rana Akina is also exactly 28 days
older than Anaiah. |

This is a NEW water sport called Equi-Tubing,
it is tubing from a equine (horse) power! Cheryl created this brilliant
sport and she brought the tube from her
California Skier shop, and
TDR Rana
Akina (CJ) and
TDR Rana Ultima Nata (Ultima) provided the horsepower. We had a lot
of fun, but this is not recommended for those riders who don't like to
get wet (Xena got SOAKED) or horses who don't really love the water!

In the photos below TDR Rana Akina (CJ)
swam out to the middle of the lake pulling the tube, tube rider, and me
with her. She is an exceptional swimmer and she had a lot of swim
conditioning before she did this. She is one serious athlete with an
incredible disposition and a passion for water sports! See more
